Driving Impact Through the SDGs

In shaping the Good Shepherd Services Strategic Plan 2026–2030, we have drawn on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as an important reference point, alongside other guiding frameworks, to ensure our work remains both globally aligned and locally relevant.

SDG 1. No Poverty

Objective: Advance women’s economic empowerment by increasing income security, productive capacity, and access to inclusive financial and market opportunities.

Strategies:

  • Design and implement demand-driven skills development, entrepreneurship, and financial capability programmes aligned with local economic opportunities.

  • Facilitate access to inclusive finance through partnerships with microfinance institutions, savings groups, and social enterprises, while strengthening community-based enterprise development and market linkages.
